Záhorská Bystrica, Renovation of the water supply on Donská street and Reduction shaft, connection near D2

Client

Bratislavská vodárenská spoločnost, a.s.

Construction period

October 2022 – May 2023

Construction technology:
The subject of the performance is the implementation of construction works for the rehabilitation of the existing DN200 pipeline for a new pipe made of ductile iron TVLT (PN10) – DN300 with a length of approx. 795 m. The entire rehabilitation section will be divided into 6 stages (I.-VI.) with the beginning of the I. stage at the junction near the ATS Strmé vršky in order to maintain the functioning of the current DN200 pipeline and the new DN300 pipeline during construction for the purpose of supplying customers.
As part of the rehabilitation, it is also proposed to transfer part of the section of the existing DN150 pipeline to the new route. The proposed pipe is made of ductile iron TVLT (PN16) – DN150 with a length of approx. 123,5 m.
As part of the building, it is proposed to build water branches from a new DN300 water pipe connected to the existing water connections.
Due to the cramped conditions in the paved areas of local roads on Donská street, it will be necessary to ensure the organization of traffic and the access of residents to their plots.
Part of the task, in addition to the rehabilitation of the water supply on Donská Street in Záhorská Bystrica, is also the realization of a DN 500mm pipeline connection (TVLT), which is run longitudinally with the D2 road, and a DN200 supply pipeline, which will be implemented in a newly built monolithic reduction shaft with external dimensions of 6.1 x 4.1 x 3.2 m at the intersection of these pipes.
